Charged with implementing and applying the common administrative procedures arising from a uniform industrial property protection regime, the African Intellectual Property Organisation (OAPI) constitutes, in this respect, a SINGLE WINDOW for the member States for the grant and maintenance of industrial property titles. The OAPI system is thus favourable to businesses through :

•  a single filing ;
• a single fee;
•  a protection valid in 17 States ( Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo Republic,Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo).
