What is the difference between an innovation and an invention?

In intellectual property, we distinguish among other objects: the trademark, the industrial design or model, the patent (invention).

While the invention is a technical solution to a given problem in the field of technology.

As for innovation, it can relate to one of the aforementioned objects and will therefore consist in creating something new or improving something that already exists in the field of the brand, the invention etc.
